it’s october… the only month i do not have to dress up as a common human being – i can put on witchy outfits every other day without suspicious looks ;)
i actually made that dress in summer already but it suits much better now that the weather is so rainy. those dungaree dresses are quite cute i think, i already made two.

so here is what i did: for the skirt part i sewed a basic whole circle skirt with a length of 60cm plus the seaming part. i finished the whole skirt with zipper and side pockets before i added the upper part.
now for the front part i used a rectangular pice of fabric which i altered to the right length from my skirt waist up to where i wanted the neckline to be (about 30cm plus seaming part but you should measure it yourself). i made two plaits right and left at the neckline so the fabric wouldn’t be so strait. oh and i also added a pocket at the front, but if you think it looks too much like an apron you might want to lose this one.

the straps are crossed at the back and sewed to both the skirt part on the back and the front neckline. it took me a view times to get the perfect length here but now it’s perfect.

what do you think?
